Hi, I’m Kathie!

I learned to weave in 1999 at the Santa Fe School of Weaving, while spending the summer singing in the Santa Fe Desert Chorale.

After a job promotion and raise in 2000, I bought a 36 inch Schacht 8-shaft Mighty Wolf loom. I added a 15 3/4 inch 8-shaft Leclerc Voyageur table loom to my studio soon thereafter. I wove in what free time my fairly all-consuming day job allowed, but by early 2004, I no longer had time to weave. My beautiful Mighty Wolf became a coat and hat rack and my Voyageur slept in it’s bag in a closet. In 2002, I decided to start weaving again, before I COMPLETELY forgot how to get things set up and going. By 2024, I seriously dedicated myself to weaving and began selling my wares at craft markets and festivals.
